Award-winning photographs of nature including Britain’s Jurassic Coast and Indonesia‘s largest waterfall have been captured in stunning detail.
Film school graduate and part-time firefighter Hugo Healy, of Brighton, won a 1,000$ (£820) prize in an online photography competition.
He took this stunning picture of ‘Tumpak Sewu’ in East Java, Indonesia, which means ‘a thousand waterfalls’ in the local language.
The photograph he took even has an active volcano in the background, with trees appearing to circle around the waterfall drop near Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park.
Mr Healy took the photo while travelling through Asia earlier this year. He has also travelled around Europe, taking photos with his DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone.
He has since taken these breathtaking aerial pictures of Venice, Italy; a castle in Scotand and even a ‘Hogwarts’ style steam train.
Mr Healy is a film making graduate at Brighton Film school. His photos have been featured in a competition by website AGORA, which runs weekly photography contests.
He said: ‘Ever since I brought a drone three years ago, I have wanted to capture the world from a unique angle, and light sharing how beautiful and colourful our planet is in order to inspire others to get out and explore’.
